What is your guess?

This is my BEST BEST BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD! As you can see she is very pregnant! Krisite is one of the most amazing persons that I know! She is such a hard worker, thoughtful, caring, sweet, generous, and a WONDERFUL step mom to her hubby's little girl, Anika, and she is going to be such a AWESOME mom to this little one. I can not wait until that little baby girl, Bailee Renee, is here in this crazy world! I know that she is such a blessing to Kristie and Mike already and will be to anyone that meets her. She couldn't have picked a better than mom than Kristie! I know that Kristie is so excited to meet this Bailee Renee, and to finally hold her in her arms, and love her so much more than she thought possible!
OK This picture was taken today- how many more days do you think she has to go? What is your guess??

The answer is on my comments.

Thanksgiving 08 & Jim Brickman

Thanksgiving 08 was so nice this year. To sum it up it was R & R! We spent it this year with my family. We actually had 2 with them, one on Thursday and one on Friday. Thursday's was at my Aunt Jan's house. She decorated the table so beautifully! This woman loves purple, so that of course was the theme for the table. All the food was so yummy!
Jonny diggin into some pie!
After stuffing ourselves to the brim on Thursday- Friday's Thanksgiving was at my cousin's Theresa's. ALL of the family came to this one (except for a Grieg who was down in St.George, and Jess's little family). My cousin from MN even came down with her husband and 4 kids! Theresa's place is so nice, she has got a play room in the back so all the kids mostly just played in there and had a blast! I think they all changed their clothes about a million times into 'princess' costumes. Here is Delan and I. I am so glad that she made it!

At midnight we went down to the Fashion Place mall for BLACK FRIDAY! We got there around 11:30pm and this is what it had already looked like, and we were in the middle, so take this and times it by two. And when they opened their doors at these people went running! My friend Desiree works at the mall, and worked this night, and she said it was a mad house for a couple hours, then all that was left were just teenagers. We walked out empty handed, and went home to bed!
After Thanksgiving on Friday, Grandma, Jill, Jonny and I loaded up in Jill's car and headed down to St.George. Man, I haven't been down there in forever and missed all my family down there! It was so much fun to hang out with all of them. The reason we went down there was to drop Grandma off, she'll be staying down there till Christmas. And my cousin Megan got baptised! We are so proud of her and her dad Grieg for all their hard work in making this possible for themselves to do this! We are so grateful that we were able to attend!

This is my cousin Josh's little girl Pyper. She is so cute! I actually had never met her before, but she surprisingly sat on my lap for a while, and warmed up to me fast! I almost snuck her in my suitcase, you wouldn't notice would you Brandy??

Pyper's aunt, my cousin Krissy snuggling. Pyper is such a cuddly little girl, or at least she was that night.
Here is Pyper with my Uncle Scott (her grandpa- who she adores!). Pyper kept dropping her cookies into the milk, and Scott would fish them out one after another. I wondered how long they were going to play that game!
Well, we drove back Sunday morning to Salt Lake and then Jonny and I drove back to Logan that evening. And lets just say we were tired when we got home! Here is Roxy and I about to crash for the night! When she goes to Jill's and plays with all her friends it usually takes her 2 days to recover for every 1 day that she is there.
JIM BRICKMAN!!
I am going to be honest and say that I wasn't too excited about going to Jim Brickman this time. Don't get me wrong, I HEART Jim Brickman, and so does my whole family. I just wasn't excited about it being a 'Christmas' Concert. I have been to a couple of his Christmas Concerts before, and thought 'I don't even really like Christmas music (I know you are all gasping and think I am a huge Ba-Hum-Bug, but it's not that I hate all Christmas music, just all the jingles, I think I got sick of those when I was about 10) so I don't really want to go all that much'. Well, Jill got my ticket with out knowing this, so it looked like I was going. And am I glad I did! It was soo much fun, and soo good! Here is my sister and I getting ready for the big Jim Brickman night. She probably isn't going to like this picture, but this is pretty much what we did for 30 min, doing her hair and make up. I can't wait to have little girls to be able to do all that with them. (although I won't be plucking their eye brows hehe)
The concert was here in Logan so all my family drove up. It was Jill, Becky, Jan, Jamie, Phila, Theresa, Alyssa and I. I wish we all got to do things more often! I took some video's of it, but Blogger isn't letting me upload them. They are probably too long. But I'll try back later. Here is the stage though, our Theater here in Logan is gorgeous!
My sister, Alyssa and I. Don't we look so much alike?? She is actually about 4 yrs younger than I am.
... and then my camera died at intermission! Dang it! Probably bc of all the video's I took. Oh well. If Jim Brickman is ever coming to your home town- GO! He is amazing in Concert, and so are his co-host's that he brings! And ladies- Jim is pretty good looking!

Good news! We had someone come and look at our house last night. Big THANKS to my sister for helping clean up! They are the cutest couple, who are engaged. And the ironic part is that they are getting married in May, just like us! And we bought the house in December, just like them! Is it a sign?? I am trying not to get my hopes up but it's hard! Our house has only been for sale for 2 weeks now, but they loved it! (how could you not?) The guys fiance said that the colors we've painted are exactly what she loves! I am glad too, bc our house is very colorful and I was worried that people wouldn't like it bc of that. Keep your fingers crossed!

Photo Tagged

Got tagged by Krista. I have seen this on other people's blogs and was hoping I wouldn't get tagged because I was nervous the picture that I was suppose to put on here would be horrible. But it's not as bad as it could be.
Here's how this tag works:1. Go to the "My Pictures" folder on your computer2. Upload the 4th picture from the 4th folder3. Post the picture4. Tag 4 others
This is Jonny and I a few days before we got married- how time flies!
I tag- Kristie, Brandy, Lynette, Jess, Angie, and Savanah!

I still need to post my Thanksgiving pictures, I have just not had the time. But this was quick and easy, so I did this really fast. Tomorrow my family is coming up and we are going to Jim Brickman- I am excited!

FREE.99 + s&h

I heart Oprah! A couple of weeks ago Oprah announced on her show that that she was giving FREE Snapfish.com books away (plus s&h) for one day only. Well, I completely forgot to make my book all day until about 11:45pm (and it ended at midnight). So I rushed to the computer and uploaded some of our favorite wedding pics and ordered mine.
I wish I would have remembered earlier because you can do so much on Snapfish.com! But for the lack of time, I just did one picture per page (you were only allowed to do up to 20 pages for the free book) and ordered mine. And it came today in the mail. I love it, but do wish I had more time to make it really good! Especially for free. But I guess this is a good sample of what they look like. Not bad for $4 something.

I am so LUCKY!

I came home tonight to a card and a movie hanging from the ceiling right when I walked into the door! Jonathan is so thoughtful and freakin awesome to do all these little things for me! I'll spare you the mushy details of what is written on the inside, but I LOVE the movie Elf! I can watch that over and over and then a few more times...{as I am rushing over to the dvd player to pop it in!} Jonny might regret this purchase after a few weeks of nothing but Elf. I think that is why he has prolonged giving it to me.
Thank you so much love! He really does do so much for me every day, and supports me in everything that I do- even though he is the one that needs all the support trying to earn his Electrical Engineering Degree (2 more semesters wahoo!). He is doing so good in school right now, and can't wait for graduation.
On a less mushy note, Saturday we went to Salt Lake (very last minute!) to go to Jill's birthday dinner. Happy Birthday Jill! We went to a very yummy place called Virg's. If you are ever in the Taylorsville area, stop by. Cheap good food! My family is always talking about that restaurant, so I was glad that we got to try it! Saturday night we ran over to Kristie's-my bff!- to hang out there for a while. I miss being able to see her all the time so much, and am so excited for her little girl to be born. Sunday we went down to Lehi to spend the day with Julianne and her family (Jonny's sister). We love love love going over there and love spending time with her kids. I could be with them all day, they are so funny and cute!

Dark & Cold but she still demands

By the time we get home around 5:30 now it's dark outside, and the weather has been cold as well. But that doesn't stop Roxy from demanding her walks right about that time though! I wonder how long she'll be able to go before it starts snowing. Since it is getting darker, we are putting her on her leash too. And she is NOT happy about that at all! She is not used to a leash, she is such a good puppy, she's always just stayed by us and we've never worried about her running off. So when she is on a leash she just freaks out- as she is doing here in the picture below. We usually have to stop about 10 times just going around the block and yell at her because she refuses to walk on the leash, or will 'play' tug of war with it.
Jonny's parrot puppy.
Maybe Roxy was a parrot in her past life. She loves to sit on Jonny's shoulder, and just balance there. She was on Jonny's shoulder for about 15 min while he cooked dinner.

Just Because...

I just wanted to give a huge SHOUT OUT to my wonderful husband! He is truly one of the most kind, giving, calm, and amazing person I know. He is always there for me, and is always there to help out where help is needed. He has a pretty hectic schedule, as do I, and he tries to make what little time we have together always FUN! I love that we can talk forever and ever! We can laugh our heads off till our stomachs hurt- and then laugh some more! I love that we still get so excited to see each other, and we would talk to each other and be with eachother all day-every day if we could. He is truly the ROCK in my life!
Love- Your Lover

Home-style Panda Express

Last night Jonny and I wanted to try out some recipes from our 'secret recipes'. Which is every recipe you could think of from every restaurant and every candy etc! If you want it, comment and I'll email it to ya. Well, we picked Panda Express Orange Chicken! Here's how it went (step by step) ...
All the ingredients (and a few substitutes).
Preparing the chicken.
You have to let the wok heat up for about 15 min before you cook it, it gets really hot! We have an electric stove (hate it!), so it might not have cooked as well.
Frying chicken.
The cooked chicken.

Making the sauce.

Jonny giving the thumbs up- goin good!
Mixing it all together.
It really does look and smell like Panda Orange chicken, but will it taste like it?

Going in for the first bite...

And NO it doesn't! Jonny liked it, but I sure didn't. Too much of something and too little of something else. I think you just really can't substitute things- follow the recipe- exact! But we'll try it again.

On Saturday while Jonny was at school I raked up all our leaves. Well, I can't say that truthfully, Jonny did most of it a couple weeks ago, I just got the leaves that had fallen since then. Man- I think that should be done at gym! 'Raking Leaves Class!'. It is a workout! And it didn't help much that as I was sweeping our driveway that was full of leaves, Roxy would run up to my pile get a mouthful of leaves, run and put them back on the front yard! But we got it done. What I love about Logan (maybe they do this other places) is that all you have to do is rake your leaves to the curb and then a huge vacuum comes by and sucks them all up for ya! No bagging! Ya!

Nauvoo

Last Thursday I left my honey and my puppy and drove down to Salt Lake to catch a plane the next morning with Grandma and Grieg (uncle) to St.Louis to meet Sara and Alan (aunt and uncle). My cousin Beth and her husband David and their two kids, Alex and Kate were getting sealed in the Nauvoo Temple on Saturday. What an amazing experience to witness. I am so glad that we all were able to attend. Sara and Alan were flying from OK, so they got their a bit earlier than us and got the rental car then picked us up at the airport and we drove the 3 hour drive to Keakook (sp) IL, where we stayed the night. Saturday morning we all got up and drove the short distance to Nauvoo where we were greeted by more family. Oh I miss my family so much!
On the way there the sky was gorgeous! We saw so many rainbows. If you look closely in this picture you can see 2 rainbows.

The Nauvoo Temple is so beautiful! You would know if you have been there, but if you haven't- go!

My uncle Warren and his granddaughter- Kate. She is soo cute!
Alex running around.
The happy, sealed for all time and eternity family! We are all so proud of you guys!
And all of us that were able to attend.
After the Temple, we all went out to eat to catch up and visit, then back to St.Louis we went to catch the first flight out! It was a really quick trip- but worth it.
Huge THANKS to my mom for making it all possible- as usual. She works for Southwest Airlines, so she is able to get us buddy passes to fly for free. THANKS AGAIN!!

2nd photo shoot

First of all- we've been published!! Check out Jess Goff's new photo blog Moments to Keep. Sat we went over to some train tracks by Jess's house, and took tons of pictures. Thanks so much Jess for letting us be your 'test dummies'! We love taking pictures with you, so anytime!

Here are some of my favorite's...

Our fake family
I think this picture is so funny!
Just goofing off with some funny poses
Breakthru! I was taking some pictures of Colin and Jess and that left Jonny with Lily and Kenner. If any one know's Lily, she is a momma's girl all the way and won't go to any one else (except for Krista I hear- way to go Krista!). Well, Jonny somehow managed to take her out of the stroller and over to a different part of the park and play with her without 1 tear!
On the way home the boys had some fun with their pictures. They crack me up!

Kennerman was just too tired to tired to walk home, so he went to his favorite person- Jonny to hold him. Awe I love it, kids do just love Jonny so much.
I was surprised though later on down the walk he by passed Jonny and came running to me 'An-hela' to hold him. I love this kid. We love going over to Colin and Jess's and getting the biggest welcome from Kenner (and the saddest goodbye when we leave). Ok usually it's just a big 'JONNY!', but sometimes he'll throw in my name. Maybe Colin and Jess should start welcoming us like that! LOL I could just imagine walking in and them screaming 'Jonny & Angela!!' :)
