photo shoot & double date

What a FUN weekend! We went down Friday night and did our laundry (which will be the last time we are bringing all our laundry down to Salt Lake- my Aunt Jill had a stack able washer/dryer that she wasn't using and let us buy it. YAY! It will be so nice to have a washer/dryer at home again). Saturday morning Kristie/Mike/Bailee/Desiree came over to Jonny's parents and we did the finishing touches on hair/make up/outfits and rushed off to Wheeler Farm to take pictures. I am so happy with the way that they turned out! After I put the finishing touches on them this week I will for sure post a sneek peak- can't wait!
After the photo shoot pictures, you would think these girls would be smiled out. Thanks again for letting me take your pictures, I hope you like them.

Our 'classic' pictures. I love it. When we were younger (like teens) whenever we had our picture taken together, this is about how it would turn out- Krisite smashing my face. Had to get a shot of that.
Silly faces.

Double Date Night! Woot woot! So so so fun! Thanks so much Angie and Jacob, you guys are the best and so hilarious and so much fun to hang out with! We went to TGI Friday's, the yummiest food, and had like 2 hours before the movie started. Why we chose to go to dinner so early, I don't know why- guess we were just too excited to see each other. It was okay though, we headed over to Nordstroms Rack, which turned out funny because Angie and I mostly just stood around and talked while the boys were like a 'kid in the candy store' as Angie so well put it. They were all over that store, and trying on clothes etc.
Jacob just being cool.
Had to post this picture of myself- where do I come up with these faces?
Angie and I. Two peas in a pod I'd say- love you Ang!

Jacob move your head you can barely see Angie! lol.
Second part of the date TRANSFORMERS 2! For about a week this is all I have heard about from Jonathan, he was so excited! And the IMAX- awesome!

They were soo excited, and their eyes were glued to the screen the whole time!
Not so much Angie and I, we got really bored about half way thru the movie and kept looking at each other 'why didn't we go see a chick flick while they watched this??'

Summer Fest 09

Friday night after work we headed down to Summer Fest. It was so nice outside- a little hot, but after being rainy for weeks, that was ok with me! Good thing we went Friday night too, because pretty much all Saturday it rained again. I love getting out and doing things like this, too bad Logan doesn't have too many things going on. I can't wait until we are back in a 'city' where there are more things happening to go to. I got a very yum strawberry-banana smothie, and Jonny got a yum navajo taco. All the booths were fun to look at, but didn't find anything good. More fun to just walk around and enjoy time together.

Photo's for fun

Jonny let me run out and snap a few pictures of him tonight. It was fun to practice and have him as my 'model'. I am trying to get as much practice as I can, but it's kinda hard up here in Logan when we live by so few people that we know. I know these pictures are alot of the same person, but how could you not love him? He actually has fun posing for pictures, if anyone has ever taken his picture you would know. He's so cute. Thanks Love! If you have an comments, or tips please let me know.

1st power tool

Tonight we went to Home Depot and Jonny got his 1st ever power tool! He was so super excited. He needed a grinder for his senior project motorcycle and went to see if how much he could rent one, but turns out they are not that expensive at all.
It turned out nice as well, because the cheaper one that he originally was going to get Home Depot didn't have any, so they gave him the next one up for the cheaper price. Saving $10, which isn't a lot to some, but major score for us. Hey- any money you can save right?
Didn't take him long before he opened that up and went to work on his bike.
Look at that river behind him in the street! It has been raining so much lately!
I am so proud of Jonny and this senior project that he is doing! It's going to be freaking awesome! He is doing a fantastic job so far, and he lights up when he is going to go out to the garage to work on it. I love him.

Photography and Wedding Bells

May 30th was full of events! As usual we were in Salt Lake, my mom came in to town Friday night and left Saturday morning- quick trip to bring my Grandma back. I think I could get used to her being here...hint hint. Saturday morning I woke up early and got all ready to go to my 1st Photo Class!! I was so super excited and had the BEST time! I was a little bummed that my friend Jess had to switch dates, because she was suppose to go with me. But I guess I forgive her since it was her son's birthday. The class was from 9am to 1pm, and ran over a little bit. I was amazed at how much I learned, and took 12 pages of notes! I can't wait to put that stuff into action. The class was held by Emilie- for more information click here. When I got back Kristie and Bailee came over, so I was a happy person!
We snapped a few pictures of Bailee before she got a little cranky. But we did manage to get some cute pictures. I was too scared to go out of Auto though on my camera- one day soon I'll venture into Manual.

Bring on the cranky. Still so cute though. I love her blue eye's. Kristie has amazing beautiful blue eye's as well.

I think this is my favorite one! I should have taken it a little higher though, practice makes perfect though!
I just love baby rolls!
She looks like she's modeling for some magazine cover or something, the way she is strikin a pose.

I just can't believe my jr high crush just got married! JD got married to Lacy Saturday morning, and we all went to the reception that night in her parents backyard. I love backyard weddings! It was so pretty. They are so cute together! Congratulations you two!
Bailee- what are you looking at? She clearly didn't want to be in the picture, too many pictures taken of her too much that day I guess.
Cute Duckworth family.

I love these two. They both have crazy personalities, and I love em!
Oh my weakness... cheesecake! I had about 3 of these, I love it so much!
Rob and Leslie. We love these two!

5th Ward boys. It was like a mini reunion that night. It was so fun to get caught up in every one's lives.

I don't remember what Leslie and I were laughing at, but it took about 5 shots to finally get us to look at the camera.

Matchy matchy- I don't know why we wore black to a wedding... oops.
Kristie is going on vacation right now to take Mike's daughter to her mom this summer in OK, I tried to convince her to let me just take care of Bailee until she gets back. She was not falling for that though. Darn it.

Bailee was getting a little worn out that night but as soon as Leslie picked her up she calmed right down, I thought it was so cute.

The famous 'trash the car'. Jonny rented a Hummer for our wedding to drive away in (and if anyone has pictures of that please send them to me!) and made it super top secret where he kept the Hummer, because he didn't want anyone trashing it like this, or worse. Well, that worked until his friends followed us to the hotel room that night. The next morning the valet service brings the Hummer around and it's completely trashed! I have known Jonny a while since then and have never seen him get that upset ever before. We tried to take it to a auto car wash and they refused to wash it because it was so bad, and our plane was leaving in a few short hours. But it all turned out OK, we got the Hummer washed and checked in and on our plane.

Me and the Mother of the Groom. I heart her so much, she is such a sweetheart. Their whole family is!

I am so happy for them!

I love JD's face in this picture.
Lacy's parents- how precious are they?
Dancin fools!

I rarely notice the major heigth differnce between Jonny and I until I see a picture like this.

We are nerds, can I just say it? Yes- we are framing our faces.

But we weren't the only nerds, they are doing the robot.
I love weddings! Especially if there is dancing- there must always be dancing. I think the best dancing wedding would have to be my couisin Jessie's wedding last summer. Even my Grandma got up and and danced!
