Our spoiled daughter

Yes yes we do have the most spoiled little puppy in the world! But how can you resist such a cute dress like this. I am worried for our future children. We saw this and couldn't resist getting it for her. Even though she really doesn't deserve it, lately she has not been on her best behavior. And as a result of that she is back to her kennel when we are gone. Maybe one day she'll learn.

First Day of School

Ok this is a little cheesy but everyone else is posting about the first day of school so I thought I would join in. Today is Jonny's first day of 17th grade! LOL sounds so funny to me. He wasn't too hip on taking this picture and I couldn't get him to put on his back pack for it either. Jonny is not so much excited about another semester right now, considering summer school just ended 3 weeks ago. But to me it's one day closer to graduation so I am excited! Good luck Jonathan, your looking good today!
In celebration of our last weekend, we did pretty much absolutely nothing! It was so nice to have a lazy weekend, bc it will be Jonny's last till Christmas. On Saturday we went to the dollar movie and see Get Smart, and then Sunday we had a 'Friends' marathon. It was pretty nice to just sit at home with my honey and puppy and relax. Love you babe!

Last weekend in Salt Lake

Yep, this past weekend we went down to Salt Lake for the last time (for a while anyways). It was soo much fun, despite the lack of pictures. Friday night we left Logan about 6pm and went to Adam's dad's house to return the paint sprayer. Thanks so much again!

On our way out we saw this water tower-love it. Saturday we went and saw the Dark Knight (I know a little slow on the times). And we loved it!
Saturday night Kristie and Mike came over to Jonny's parents and the 4 of us played some Jenga and talked all night. Love you guys and miss you!

Sunday we went out to Julianne's (Jonny's older sister) and had the most yummiest (is that a word??) dinner! We never get to eat like that. She made roast, home made mashed potatoes, gravy, corn on the cob, and lots of veggies (which I didn't eat of course). Jonny's parents came over too for dinner, it was nice. Then we stayed over there till about 10pm and finally got kicked out! Haha- just kidding Julianne. But thanks so much again for having us over, we love going over there! Wish we lived closer! This is Jonny and Angelee (Julianne's daughter). She is my favorite! This is how she smiles for pictures they say, 'cheese' with her eye's closed. When I tried to tell her to open her eye's she would then start winking. So funny.

Jonny has 1 week left till school starts again, then 3 more semesters to go!

Tagged

4 random things I like about my husband:
1. When we go out to dinner he is not lame and order's water, he always orders a specialty drink
2. He can NOT go to bed at night unless the bed is made
3. He is very particular when checking out at the grocery store (I never put things on the conveyor belt!). He arranges all the food, non food items according to what bag he wants them in. And freaks out if his bread is smashed! I am surprised he doesn't make me sit in the back seat and put the bread up front! :)
4. He lives by the motto 'Happy wife- Happy life'!

4 jobs I've had:
1. Hostess at Texas Roadhouse
2. Retail at Langston's
3. Day care
4. Utah State
(my job currently sucks, so I am not going to even mention it)

4 movies I have watched more than once:
1. Better Off Dead
2. Wedding Date
3. 10 Things I hate about you (thinking of you Maggie!)
4. Elf

4 TV Shows I watch:
1. The Office
2. The Bachelor
3. Friends
4. King of Queens

4 places I have been:
1. Mexico
2. Vegas
3. ... pretty much the whole western side of the US

4 places I would like to visit:
1. England
2. Africa
3. Alaska
4. Paris

4 things I am looking forward to in the coming year:
1. Jonny almost being done with school!
2. Kristie's baby!
3. ... that's about it besides just livin life!

I tag- Kristie, Brianna, Danielle, and Krissie!

Ta-Da!

Here it is! Our newly painted house. I hope everyone likes it, because we sure do! Honestly though, we were a little sceptical in the beginning- that yellow looked a little bright. But when we added the black trim and the black shutters it made all the difference in the world! Thanks so much again to Jonny's parents for coming up Friday and staying till Saturday, and Adam for his paint sprayer and helping us Saturday afternoon. We wouldn't have been able to do it so quickly and so good with out you guys. And are we all in love with that paint sprayer?! Jonny's mom and I said we are never painting with a roller again, it went so fast. Also, HUGE shout out to my amazing husband for painting the whole thing! He took Friday off and had the yellow done by lunch time, and pretty much did the majority of the painting. He is such a hard worker, and I love him for that!
This was the majority of our weekend. Friday night after we painted for the day, Jonny made some yummy steaks (with our friend Dave's secret seasoning) and Jonny's parents and us roasted marshmallows and made smores, it was so nice outside that night. We got done about 4pm on Saturday with everything. Jonny and Adam put an attic fan in, that we can already tell a difference in our house with. Saturday night we went over to Colin and Jess's for a bit, then went and saw Step Brothers. Laughed so hard! And Sunday we just went to church (9am now- sucks!) and just layed around the rest of the day. Good weekend all together! Soo tell me what you think of our 'new' house...

i HATE rain

We have been planning on painting our house since we've moved in. We've had the date set now for a month. Bought the paint, new shutters, all our paint gear, washed the house on Wed so it would dry for today, Jonny took the day off work... and what does it start doing about 8pm last night? Pouring rain! So sad! It has not rained here in forever it seems like. So poor Jonny was out in the rain taping the whole house last night. I would cut the paper and he would tape it up. And it's muggy this morning, with a 30% chance of rain today and tomorrow. I just really hope it clears up. Jonny's awesome parents are driving up today to help us paint this weekend, and our friend Adam is letting us borrow a paint sprayer. Thank you so much guys in advance! Not telling what colors yet... you'll just have to wait and see!

Girls Night!

This past Tuesday we had GIRLS NIGHT! I love all my friends, and was a little bummed that all of them couldn't make it (sniffle-sniffle), but I love the girls that were there! Thanks so much guys for always meeting me halfway. I really appreciate it! It was so much fun, and makes me realize how much I hate living so far away sometimes, and can't wait till the next one.
On the way down there though I saw the dumbest qoute on the back of someone's car-

Lookin all fabulous- Savannah, Candice and Liz
Angie, me, and Sara
Love Candice- this is Kailee's bow (Angie's baby), she knows how to have a good time!
And the rest might as well by about Kailee- the cutest baby ever! She was so good all night, and entertained us all.
Love this face. They said that she was doing this the whole way up in the car. She is so funny!
Mom & daughter
Savannah and Candice got Kailee this 'bracelet' thingy out of one of those quarter machines. Kayilee loved it!

I thought this was really cute in black & white.
And the girls! Thanks again- love ya!

Camping Weekend

This past weekend we went up the Uinta's to go camping with some family. Got off to a late start, but we all made it. It was fun to go and get away from civilization for a night (but that's it for me!)
Me and Tora Bell.
Jonny and Brandon sportin their head lights.
James Craig was so good, and very much wanted to do everything that we were doing. So you definitely had to keep your eye on him.
Yummy smores!
The next morning we got up, Jonny made some eggs while Jesse and Brandon dropped the car off for my Aunt Jan. Who had been on a 11 day hike thru the Uinta's! Way to go Jan and Jim! They had a great time, and we are glad you are back safe!
We forgot a cooler, so the stream kept our drinks cool.
After breakfast, we all went target shooting! Brandon's gun has a scope on it, so you could see what you are shooting, so we all hit pretty good with that one. Ours however does not, so we didn't do so hot on that one.
Our 'tent'! It was actually very comfy! Our seats fold down all the way in our car so we just put a twin size mattress in there and it was perfect. Jonny and Roxy were in heaven because they got to cuddle with me all night, normally I need my space.
The kids- Tora Bell and James Craig!
So this little bug was on our wiper blade when we left the Uinta's Saturday afternoon, and stayed there all the way to Salt Lake. Guess it wanted a free ride down there... :)
The rest of the weekend we just hung out at our families. We haven't been down to Salt Lake for a while so it was nice to see every one.
