Date please...

This post is for my hubby! Just dropping a little hint... that I am craving to go on a date! He is so busy in school and lately I've been gone alot too, that I just need some Jonny time.

Where did the plastic wrap go???

My sweet adorable husband made dinner for me yesterday! He made salsa chicken in the crock pot over rice and had the rolls rising all day. Well... when the rolls were ready to go into the oven he just simply put them in...

... then a while later he open the oven and says 'Hey where did the plastic wrap go??'... Mr. Engineer put the rolls into the oven with the plastic wrap still on them! It was soo funny!! So we just ate the bottom the of the rolls... :)

Desiree's Birthday

This weekend I went down to Salt Lake to go to Desiree's Birthday dinner. It was so much fun! I miss my seeing my friends and family. That day Desiree and i went on a 'boot hunt' to find some tall black boots and we searched two malls and didn't find one pair that worked. I was way bummed!

The whole gang. One story: Grandma kept saying how dark it was at T.G.I. Friday's, and then got some glasses out of her purse to read the menu and after she complained some more of how dark it was ordered her food and took of her glasses to realize that she was wearing sun glasses! It was so funny and definilty something grandma would do, I just love her!

The Brave One

Jonny and I rented this movie from Red Box the other night, fell asleep and finished watching it last night. Kinda a dumb movie, if you have seen it and liked it good for you. If you haven't I will ruin it for you...Jodie Foster just goes around killing every one and then gets away with it in the end!

I feel bad, my visiting teachers had planned on coming over last night and I worked and completly forgot to call them. Oopps.

OH and Roxy slept with us last night and peed in our bed. We are not having children. Jonny was not happy about that at all.

Nice Pants

I don't know what you are talking about, there is nothing wrong with these pants! Angela always want me to go out and buy new pants when I have a perfectly good pair right here.

But seriously if I have one more car problem I am just not going to drive anymore...

MARQUETTE HEIGHTS ~ Barbara Jean "Barb" Berardi, 53, of 300 Kaskaskia Road, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008 at her residence.
Born October 14, 1954 in Peoria to Marvin J. and Margaret L. (Bohlander) Doty, she married Warren Leslie Berardi on April 5, 1980 in Kensington, Maryland. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother of Salt Lake City, Utah; six sons, Kevin Eugene Berardi of Saint George, Utah, Matthew Philip Berardi and Benjamin Warren Berardi, Andrew Joseph Berardi, and Mark Leslie Berardi, all of Marquette Heights, and Travis Marvin Berardi, serving as a missionary in Melbourne, Australia; one daughter, Elizabeth Marie (David) Dille of Marquette Heights; two grandchildren, Alexander Paul Dille and Kathryn Elizabeth Dille, both of Marquette Heights; two brothers, Scott N. (Rebecca) Doty of Saint George, Utah and Greig A. Doty of Salt Lake City, Utah; five sisters, Rebecca A. (Jim) Siirola, Jill M. Doty, Janet L. (Jim) Cunningham, all of Salt Lake City, Utah, Donna L. (James) Wilson of Moore, Oklahoma, and Sara L. (Alan) Lewis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and one half-brother, Larry (Donna) Allen of Keithsburg.
Her father preceded her in death on April 14, 2002.
A 1973 graduate of East Peoria Community High School, she graduated in 1976 from the Graham Hospital School of Nursing in Canton.
Barb worked for Proctor Hospital in Peoria in the pediatric department. She then worked in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Primary Childrens Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. She later worked in the pediatric department at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria and later at Pekin Hospital. She last worked for A+ Home Health Care in Peoria for three years as a registered nurse in pediatric home health care.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pekin Ward. She was a former Sunday school teacher and former president of the relief society, primary department, and young women's department, all at the Pekin Ward. She was the advancement committee chairman of Boy Scout Troop 292 and den mother of Cub Scout pack 292, both at the Pekin Ward. She was a former district advancement chairman for W.D. Boyce Council of Boy Scouts of America for three years. She was proud of her accomplishment in raising six eagle scouts
Barb enjoyed doing counted cross-stitching and quilting for family and humanitarian events.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pekin. Bishop Leonard W. Pineda will preside. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel and also from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4234 North Knoxville Avenue, Peoria, IL 61614.


I love my Aunt Barb so much! And miss her already! My whole family, outside of a few cousins, were able to make her funeral on Wed. It was such a nice service, she will be greatly missed by everyone!

OK- first I had to post this picture that Jonny so 'nicely' took of me asleep on the couch with Roxy. I can't even tell you how many pictures I have of me sleeping since I was a kid to now. Why do people think that is the best time to take a picture??

Feeling Down

So I was feeling down one day, and my darling husband came home then went to the grocery store and came home with a drink, Ben & Jerry ice cream, and this rose. He is such a great husband and lives by the motto "Happy Wife- Happy Life". Which has worked out well in our relationship :)

1st Hair Cut

Roxy got her first hair cut tonight at Pet's Mart. They say she did really good and didn't freak out until they put the powder in her ear to clean them out. What a boob! But they did such a great job! This is the before...

And this is the after! Those bows didn't last long in her hair.

Feelin Pretty

Sometimes my skin just feels so dry and pale and I just need to give it a little boost. Angela hates it but I make her do it anyways and after its over she feels better. I know I do, my skin practically shouts for joy it says thank you for the refresher I feel like I can breath all over again. As you can tell from the picture she is not at all interested.

I just wanted to say how cute my husband is!!! Seriously, I love that I never have to worry about him wearing something ridiculous, because my man know's how to dress! And for those of you who think I dress him... YOU ARE WRONG! He just has taste!! I just love him!!

IGGY'S

Jonny and I went on a date last night and were super excited! And decided to try something new, and Iggy's just opened up here in town so we went there. Not the best experience in the world. It was bc Jonny and I got to go out! But I was really disappointed about the food. I got the half rack of ribs and it was $16 and really not worth that much. Also, Jonny and I have been hooked on Kitchen Nightmares lately and I think Chef Ramsey has ruined us eating out for life. We now inspect everything. For example, when they brought sauces to us, they brought them on doily's! Jonny was all 'this is a sports bar/grill, and they are bringing things out on paper doily's!'. Not interested. But what matters most is I did get to go on a date with my honey who I love so much and is so wonderful to me!

Can't keep me in!!!

Here is Miss Roxy getting a bath, she looks so sad in this picture. OH but what we have discovered about her is that she loves TV. If the TV is on she is watching it.

Okay now we have been trying to be nice and not too put Roxy in the box lately and lock her into the kitchen when we are gone. Well twice now we come home and she is out! Jonny finally caught on camera how she gets out, I can't even believe it. We measured that hole and it's 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches! She is one determined puppy to not be locked up.

Christmas!

I really hate to admit this- but this is the only picture I got the entire Christmas vacation! Jonny's Dad opening the present I got him. I didn't even get any pictures of Jonny and I opening presents or anything. But Christmas was great this year. We stayed in Logan Christmas morning, had our little first Christmas as a married couple then went down to SLC to Jonny's family then to mine. It was nice to see every one. This time has been so great with Jonny being on break! He starts school again on Monday and we are not looking forward to it at all (well at least I'm not).

Grandma's 80th Birthday Party!

Kinda behind on blogging. A few weeks ago we had Grandma Doty's 80th birthday party. It was alot of fun. Scott and Becky and Heather drove up from St. George, and then of course all the Salt Lake family were there. We rented out the Banquent room at the Home Town Buffet. And had alot of pictures and things that Grandmas loved to do on tables.

Miss 'Princess Evelyn' (that's what she says her name is), and Fenway sang Love One another. I wish I would have gotten that on video, they did such a good job! And knew the whole song and weren't shy at all.

Grandma got alot of nice gifts from everyone. We also played some games like answering questions about Grandma's life, and whoever got the answer first got a prize, and then we all shared our favorite memories of Grandma.

Date Night

Angela: Last night was date night for Jonny and I! It was so much fun. We went and saw "I am Legend". Really good movie, very intense, and highly recomended. It has been so nice having Jonny home since the semester is over! This past Sunday we were making dinner and doing the dishes, and thinking I don't even remember the last time we just hung out like this. So going to the movies was really fun. Before that we went to a few stores to get some last minute gifts and just goof around at stores. Then at the movies we got the biggest bowl of popcorn and ate it all! Which I don't think is good for me, because recently we found out I 'might' (as I put it because I don't want to give up all those yummy foods) be allergic to MSG. I've noticed when I eat thet things loaded with MSG I get the biggest migrane. For those of you who don't know what MSG is look it up- you'll see it's in everything! Anyways, after the movie we went to Walmart, then came home to our baby Roxy. Realizing that we hadn't left her alone for that long since we got her. We just love her!

OUR NEW PUPPY!

We would like to introduce the newest member of our family: Roxy 'Girlfriend' Shaw! She is a schnoodle (schnauzer and a poodle). Her mom is a teacup poodle and her dad is a mini schnauzer. She is 7 weeks old and super cute and super spoiled already! We picked her up on Saturday at Jill's house. Jill picked her up that day and we just couldn't wait, and drove down to Salt Lake to pick her up. Jill was originally going to keep her until the 22nd when we were going to come down for Grandma's birthday party. (and I think Jill and Delan would have preferred that, because they just love her). We were a little nervous bc Jonny is allergic to most animals. But she is a hypoallergenic puppy, and so far he's been okay around her. So we've had her for 3 days now, and already have tons of stories to tell!

This is Jonny and Roxy on Sat when we first got to Jill's. Roxy curled up into Jonny's neck, that is where she likes to sleep.

She is so little, and all she loves to do is be held and sleep all day and not so much at night.



When we got home, we put Roxy in her princess bed. We have tile in most of our house, and I am going to try and get a video of it, but when she sits down on the tile she slides backwards, and she'll do this for a good 3 feet before she stands up and moves to a different spot and slides all over again.

She loves to be wrapped up in a blanket just like a baby.

Roxy and Angela. This little puppy has already been in trouble a few times! and she sure knows it when she is! She is in this bad habit of sleeping all day, and staying awake all night. So the last two nights we have been putting her in a box with a litter pan and her blanket and a toy while we go to bed. She starts off in our room, but does not stay there... read on... about an hour after we fall asleep she starts the crying and whining and whimpering. So we'll yell her name a few times and she'll quit for about 5 min and then start up again. So we move her box into the living room, and she knows. So what does she do, cry louder! So a few hours later after no sleep and not wanting to give in, we block her off in the kitchen with her food, toys, blanket, and the oven light on (spoiled). And she starts crying again. This girl is so spoiled and pathetic when she does this! She is eating and crying, playing with her toys and crying, walking around and crying. So about 3am I have had it and I peek around the corner in the kitchen and she is literally playing with her toys and whimpering. So I stand in the doorway of the kitchen and she turns around and as soon as she sees me, she runs to the other side of the kitchen and stops crying, she knew I was mad, but I could not help but laugh.

Yesterday after church, this dog is so spoiled. She likes to be held like a baby.

So you might be wondering what this is.. you might need a little help. That is the back of our fridge, and there is a wooden block we keep back there so that the fridge does not press against the wall its just the right size. Well apparently it is also just the right size for Roxy to climb back there and hide when she hates me(jonny). I did give her a pretty good scare after she peed on the carpet. I yelled at her and she took off to the kitchen. When I came to the kitchen she was nowhere to be found, and that's when I looked behind the fridge. She has a nac for finding hiding places because I have been trying to keep her awake all day so she will go to sleep tonight so she hides somewhere to try and sleep with out me catching her.

Ummm.. wheres my house??

Well I could not tell you what day it is at the moment or the time because I have lost all concept of it the word is meaningless and the whole concept of time is irrelevant.

I heard someone say that its Friday but frankly I don't believe them... All I know is the Last time I lied down in bed and slept was Tuesday so for all I know it could be Wednesday..

I am however slightly delusional so I might not even be posting a blog right now it could all just be in my head...

The important thing is that I have a bag full of goodies that all have fuses on them which may or may not be legal that need my attention tonight

Only 1 more hour!!!

WAHOO!!!!! I ONLY HAVE ABOUT ONE MORE HOUR TO GO AND I WILL HAVE BEEN AWAKE FOR THE LAST 24 HOURS AND IM STILL GOING STRONG!!!

Well I guess if you count the brief period of time that I feel asleep in math class its not really 24 hrs but close enough.

finals will be over in like 7 days and then I can So I am just up working on my report for one of my projects that I have been working on all semester and I am at a total of 50 pages!!! HOLY FREAKING COW AM I AWESOME OR WHAT!? There is still probably more to come which is the sad thing I just needed a change of scenery so I thought I would do a little post to let you all know that I am no and insomniac. Its ok I only have 7 more days until finals are over and I finally get to sleep sleep again!

You get kinda hungry when you are awake when you normally are sleeping, or maybe that's just me being hungry all the time.......

oh well..

Well back to the grind stone.
