Fun at the park!

Sunday we went to our friends house, the Goff's, for some yummy roast! Love Jess's home made cookin'. We rarely get that at my house. After dinner and a game of Scene It, we went on a walk to to the park and down by the stream. Well, it wasn't really a park it was a playground. It's nice to get out of the house and out of the office. We feel like this summer we haven't done much.

Jonny and Colin raced on these slide things a few time, I don't even remember who won more times than the other...

Oh but I do remember who won when Jonny and I raced- that would be Jonny by a long shot! Hey he's got alot more weight on me :)

Even Kenner wanted to ride it, he did so good for a 3 year old. He probably could have held on the whole way across by himself!

We both were 'going' to hang upside down- but that hurt our legs! Jonny and Colin were the only one's that braved it!

After the playground we went on a nice walk. I love going on walks, and they have got a pretty trail that follows a creek. So nice to just be out in the evening when it finally cools off!

Missing Doritos!

Ever since I found that I was allergic to MSG (Monosodium glutamate) I have been doing soo good at not eating things with that in it! Which is everything by the way, flavored chips, stuffing, ramen, pringles, forget about KFC, ranch, etc. But every once in a while I have a small craving for BLAZIN' BUFFALO & RANCH Doritos (among many things!). I love them! Jonny bought a bag a while ago, and that night I simply text him... 'Um, be prepared to have a grumpy wife tonight'. I had eaten almost the whole bag of Doritos- and was about to have the headache of a lifetime. Well, that was about a month ago, and Jonny just bought another bag this week... I'm trying my hardest to stay away, lets just say the bag is hidden from me at the moment :)

On a happier note, I am soo excited for the weekend! My family might be coming up on Sat and that always makes me happy! Woot Woot!

Secret School Puppy

You can't really see it, but the 2 shiny things at the top of my backpack our Roxy's eyes. Once in a while Angela will come see me while I am studying and sometimes Roxy too. I am there so much that Roxy just knows if I'm not home that's where I am. As soon as Angela lets Roxy out of the car she runs to the building I'm in and waits for Angela to catch up. Then when Angela opens the door Roxy goes to the room I'm in. Don't worry this is late at night so no one is there, and it is usually to pick me up so she's only inside for a couple minutes. This time however we had to sneak Roxy out because people were talking in the hall. So I opened my backpack and she hopped right in without a peep. Her head was the only thing sticking out blending right in they never even knew.
On the down side. Angela has this compulsion for shopping either for me or for her, so much that she doesn't really regard the sizes anymore as long as it's cute she buys it. Hence these great pants! She knew the size was wrong when she bought them but thought they were "SO HOT!" what difference could a couple inches make?????? obviously it makes a huge difference, but when the water from first and second damn breaks up Logan canyon I'LL BE READY FOR IT!!

Flowers

Shout out to my amazing husband! He sent me flowers on Monday, sad I had already left for the day (they came late) so I actually got them yesterday morning. Jonny is just so amazing like that, he is such a great husband and a fantastic, fun best friend. Thank you so much love for always being there for me and being such a great guy to me. Love ya!!

Clean at last!

Finally! Finally! Finally! A new vacuum! I can't hardly stand it! We needed a new vacuum so bad, and last night when we were at Walmart we made the important investment. We came home and put it together and Jonny could not wait to try it out! I won't even post the pictures of all the dirt and hair it sucked up. I knew our old vacuum wasn't cuttin it lately, but I can't believe how bad it really was! So thank you stimulus check (even though it was 1/2 what we were suppose to get!) for our new vacuum!

(Sidenote: this picture is totally unrelated, but I just had to have a victory of my new highest score on my addictive game tetris! Sorry I look so bad, thats me with out any make up or my hair done)

Happy 4th!

This 4th of July weekend was a blast! Thanks so much Rob and Leslie for coming up and staying with us the whole weekend! We had so much fun! They came up Thurs night and stayed till Sunday morning. When they got here on Thurs we walked up to the field across from the stadium to watch the fireworks. We were all in a crazy hyper mood, I love it!

After the fireworks we walked home and headed over the the Pita Pit. Traffic was so bad we parked at this 'Old Folks Home' by the Pita Pit and walked over there. In the parking lot was this sweet bike! Rob lookin tough-

Saturday we all get up and get ready and what do ya know- everyone is wearing plaid short but me! I felt so left out, I don't even have plaid shorts! But those 3 looked good!

We went to K-Mart on Saturday to look for strike anywhere matches for the 'project' Rob was going to do (and couldn't find any- if you know where some are let me know). Anyways, when we pull up Rob see's these 2 kids on the merry-go-round up front and says to Jonny 'I'll give you 2 bucks if you hop on there with them.' Of course my not so shy hubby walks over there and says 'Hey, can I get on with you guys?'. They let him on, and he rode the rest of the ride with them! I didn't have my camera at that time, but on the way out the thing was still going, so all three of them hopped on, so I ran to the car and got my camera. Those guys crack my up!

That night we all went to the famous Bluebird on Main Street in Logan. Love this place! They got some yummy food!

Saturday night Jonny, Roxy and I went to the Logan Cruise In on Main Street. The weather was so nice outside in the shade- perfect. We saw some pretty nice cars! This car we only saw once go by, so I'm glad I got some what of a picture of it. I don't know what it is, but it's fetchin sweet!

I just love her! It was so nice to spend time with our friends, and with Jonny! He has a big test today, so everyone think positive for him! Good luck babe!

Well it's happened again

GIRLS NIGHT OUT!!

I don't know what it is but every once in a while my wife feels the dieing need to abandon me in my time of need all by my lonesome and run off to have fun because apparently I'm just not doing it for her anymore. While she is going to be off with all her gal pals living it up with great food and atmosphere, I'll be sulking by myself with my microwaveable dinner. It'll just be me, Roxy, and my math book, but even then Roxy will just by whining at the door for Angela to come just like I will be. I guess this is just the way it is going to be from here on out, so Lover while your out try not to let my loneliness impede on your magical evening.

I'm totally kidding Love have a great time.... I was merely trying to win some sympathy from someone that's all.

8 trash bags later and still plenty more to do

There have been some nasty little rumors going around that we have a lot of weeds in are yard, I am sad to say that they are true but it's not that we want it that way. When you have me working full time and going to school then Angela working full time and a part time job, it's pretty hard to find time to work in the yard especially when there is always someone begging us to come to Salt Lake or something else that requires attention. So I am putting and end to this nonsense. We do care about our yard and we have the pictures to prove it before and after so you can make a comparison. Just keep in mind that it's not done yet, but after 7 hours in the hot sun and Angela with heat exhaustion it was time to stop.

I dont know what it is but it was the same thing last year the yard has terrible and took several days to clean up before I could plant my pitiful garden that never grew anything.

As you can see it could have been nothing short of a miracle to get the yard looking nice but unfortunately we were only able to perform half a miracle today.

In the middle of it all Roxy saw an opportunity to sit on someone as Angela leaned over so she jumped on it, you can't pass up on that kind of thing. Roxy just has to be with us where ever we go she is very clingy especially lately more to Angela though she is always pawing at her to be picked up.

It actually looks somewhat decent now, after this I sprayed the whole yard down with weed killer to get what ever we left behind. Now maybe when Roxy goes outside I wont have to spend 5 minutes pickings things out of her fur every time she comes back in. We got big plans for our cute little house this year so stay tuned we'll be sure to keep you updated with all the wonderful pictures of our wonderful little home.

Poor Roxy

On Tues and Thurs Jonny rides his long board to work since he just works down the street and doesn't have class on those days. Roxy is... umm... how do I say this CLINGY! She panics if she can't find me at home, she has to be held 70% of the time, and gets whatever she wants. I know, I know, we are the ones that made her this way. But come on, she is so dang cute, how could you not give in?? (I am dreading to see how spoiled our kids are going to be!)

So Tues morning Jonny left to go to work, and Roxy runs over to the blinds in panic. The blinds have not yet been open for the day for her, so she improvised. Yep, that's her little head and her little feet trying to jump thru the window if she could to get Jonny! She has major separation anxiety!
This morning Jonny jumps on his long board again to head to work and I was still getting ready and she starts crying and whining (yes we go thru this all the time when one of us leaves). She keeps running up to me in the bedroom looking at me, and then running towards the front door. When she does this I usually just let her outside the front to show her that he's gone and there is no one out there, she's satisfied and comes back in pouting and slowly. Well this morning I follow her to the front door which she is scratching and whining to go outside. So I open the door and let her out the screen door and what does she do? TAKES OFF RUNNING DOWN THE STREET BARKING AFTER JONNY! (who was already long gone) Oh my hell! It took 5 min to get her inside. Jonny is going to have to sneak out next time...

My good friend Stacy at work is moving to Texas next week! Her husband Chris got a sweet opportunity to go to school down there to get his masters. Both our husbands are in the Electrical Engineering field, so we relate so easy to each other of lonely nights while our husbands are at school. So sad to see her go! I have enjoyed working with her so much over the last year and a half. She is going to work from home, so we can still talk everyday on IM. Yesterday we went out to lunch for the last time (sniff sniff) to Fire House Pizza. Yum Yum! She is so sweet and awesome. I hope the move goes good, and you don't fry down there in Texas!
