Derby weekend

Our weekend started out with our favorite- Costa Vida! We could seriously eat there every day and love it (well, I know I could!).  And I don't care how many times I have said it, it's so nice Jonny not being in school this summer. It's the best feeling to come home and know that he doesn't have to rush off to school!
After our yummy Costa Vida we headed over to the Goff's for a bit. Jonny and Colin of course had to rock out to Rock Band! Colin was putting the guitar on some tough levels, and was rockin out.
Jess and I had fun with our sweet camera's and her cute kids!
I love watching Jonny playing the drums, he looks so serious!
Check out Lily's face- she is definitely not agreeing with whatever Jess is saying to her. She is so funny!
Cute Jess!
I HEART this picture of Kenner- he looks so studly! (minus the macoroni on his face- hehe)
He was so fun for the camera that night!

CACHE COUNTY DEMOLITION DERBY!
This picture of Kenner-man explains it all! The Derby on Saturday night was awesome! Thanks so much Goff's for inviting us!

This is kinda a monumental picture, Lily is kinda shy when it comes to other people. But she WILLINGLY climbed up on my lap and stayed there for a while!
And the saddest part of the Demolition Derby- the sweet Nova! Why would you enter this car to get smashed?
Well they got what they deserved! No joke the Nova got hit maybe twice and within minutes it was tipped over! And then after it was tipped back over, within minutes of that, lost it's entire wheel! Serves you right!

Kenner and his stranger. This is Adam, Jonny's old roommate from Snow College, but to Kenner- a stranger. But that doesn't stop Kenner from making friends!

Jonny lovin every minute of it!

Bad news! Our adorable cute fluffy Roxy got her hair cut on Saturday. You would think that it wouldn't be that big of a deal, and neither did we. Jonny told the groomer, to trim up the body and DO NOT cut her face. He specifically said- DO NOT MAKE HER LOOK LIKE A POODLE!
And when we picked her up, this is what she looked like! Oh we were so mad! They said they had a miscommunication and cut her face, and the rest of the hair cut is awful too, her back is all uneven. Needless to say, after a few unkind words to the barber, we didn't pay for the hair cut, and we'll just have to wait for her hair to grow back.
But that doesn't stop me from loving her! She could do this all day and night with me, snuggle up, I love it.

  3. oh, I am so jealous!! Chris and I miss eating at Costa Vida so much. I made it there when I was home for Christmas, but he didn't. And we loved going to Demolition Derby's. Looks like you guys had a great time!

  4. I love Costa Vida too, but it's so expensive! I wanted to go to the demolition derby, but I don't think I could sit in bleachers that long. They are so much fun though.
