Nauvoo

Last Thursday I left my honey and my puppy and drove down to Salt Lake to catch a plane the next morning with Grandma and Grieg (uncle) to St.Louis to meet Sara and Alan (aunt and uncle). My cousin Beth and her husband David and their two kids, Alex and Kate were getting sealed in the Nauvoo Temple on Saturday. What an amazing experience to witness. I am so glad that we all were able to attend. Sara and Alan were flying from OK, so they got their a bit earlier than us and got the rental car then picked us up at the airport and we drove the 3 hour drive to Keakook (sp) IL, where we stayed the night. Saturday morning we all got up and drove the short distance to Nauvoo where we were greeted by more family. Oh I miss my family so much!
On the way there the sky was gorgeous! We saw so many rainbows. If you look closely in this picture you can see 2 rainbows.

The Nauvoo Temple is so beautiful! You would know if you have been there, but if you haven't- go!

My uncle Warren and his granddaughter- Kate. She is soo cute!
Alex running around.
The happy, sealed for all time and eternity family! We are all so proud of you guys!
And all of us that were able to attend.
After the Temple, we all went out to eat to catch up and visit, then back to St.Louis we went to catch the first flight out! It was a really quick trip- but worth it.
Huge THANKS to my mom for making it all possible- as usual. She works for Southwest Airlines, so she is able to get us buddy passes to fly for free. THANKS AGAIN!!

2nd photo shoot

First of all- we've been published!! Check out Jess Goff's new photo blog Moments to Keep. Sat we went over to some train tracks by Jess's house, and took tons of pictures. Thanks so much Jess for letting us be your 'test dummies'! We love taking pictures with you, so anytime!

Here are some of my favorite's...

Our fake family
I think this picture is so funny!
Just goofing off with some funny poses
Breakthru! I was taking some pictures of Colin and Jess and that left Jonny with Lily and Kenner. If any one know's Lily, she is a momma's girl all the way and won't go to any one else (except for Krista I hear- way to go Krista!). Well, Jonny somehow managed to take her out of the stroller and over to a different part of the park and play with her without 1 tear!
On the way home the boys had some fun with their pictures. They crack me up!

Kennerman was just too tired to tired to walk home, so he went to his favorite person- Jonny to hold him. Awe I love it, kids do just love Jonny so much.
I was surprised though later on down the walk he by passed Jonny and came running to me 'An-hela' to hold him. I love this kid. We love going over to Colin and Jess's and getting the biggest welcome from Kenner (and the saddest goodbye when we leave). Ok usually it's just a big 'JONNY!', but sometimes he'll throw in my name. Maybe Colin and Jess should start welcoming us like that! LOL I could just imagine walking in and them screaming 'Jonny & Angela!!' :)

Happy Birthday Lily! Congrats Pattie & Autumn! Happy Birthday Roxy!

This is going to be the longest post I have ever done! My fault, that's what I get for not posting in 2 weeks almost. Where to begin, where to begin? We've had two birthday parties and a wedding!

First- how wonderful is my husband?? Last week I was having a bad night, and he came home with some chocolate and these flowers. How pretty they are- thanks love!

Happy (LATE) Birthday Lily!
It was actually last weekend. Thanks so much Colin and Jess for always inviting us. We love coming over to your house. Of course to start the party off Jonny has to teach Kenner some 'mean' balloon tricks. They got into this balloon beating battle!

Luckily Marc came to the rescue and helped Kenner out! Go Kenner!

... I am not even going to comment on this picture.
We then played an intense game of Taboo!
I love this picture of me! (is that vain?) I just think it's so funny. I had the hardest time coming up with hints so my team would guess!

Jonny on the other hand held the record! He rocked!
He was also a very diligent time keeper :)

Marc and Krista, and their new baby girl- Brooklyn.

Jonny and Jess's sweeeet camera.
Lily's cake, cupcakes actually. That is the way to go! No knife's or uneven pieces. Every one just gets their own cupcake.

Jonny sure loved them!
I love this picture of Lily. She is such a beautiful little girl. It's hard to believe that she is 1 already. It seems like yesterday we got the call from Colin that Jess had just had her.

Now this past weekend! Congrats to Pattie and Autumn! They got married in the Salt Lake Temple on October 10th. The morning started off at a wedding breakfast at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was so yummy!
The bride and groom.

Obviously Pattie was too 'busy' to get a picture with his best friend... Just kidding Pattie, we love ya!

I love the Joseph Smith Memorial Building! It is sooo pretty inside! Here they have their fall center piece. I wish I could have just taken it home and put it on my kitchen table.

Jonny and I tried to get this picture like 5 times! We had to keep re positioning the camera on a flower pot and setting the timer, running over there and wait for the flash. Didn't really turn out the best, but it will do. This is actually the same place where my BFF Kristie had her main bridal taken. So pretty!
I took this picture, pretty proud of my self, I think it turned out really good. It's at the top of the J.S.M. Building.

Getting me in front of it, obviously didn't work out so well. Outside was just too bright.

And their MARRIED!!
I hadn't yet had the opportunity to go to a sealing yet in the Temple, besides my own of course. What an amaizng experience every one should have! It is so wonderful that couples can be sealed for all time and eternity!

Love it when the Bride where's fun shoes!
The boys.
Off to the Reception. They had it at The Wood's Reception Center. It was so nice there!
I love her sash! I had a sash too for my wedding day!

Jonny and Casey had to be in the line. Don't you love their attire? They obviously didn't mind being in the line too much... Jonny said that they would change their names when they introduced themselves, or they would wait and listen to what the guest would say when they said their name to the bride and groom and then when they got to them, Jonny and Casey would use the same name to freak them out. Growing up everyone thought that Jonny and Pattie were brothers/twins. And that didn't fail in the receiving line. Jonny said he stopped counting at 15, of people asking him if he was Pattie's brother.
These guys crack me up! I didn't even post all the pictures of them being, well, themselves! LOL, they are crazy when they are all together.
My BFF is PREGO!! That's right, if you have checked out her blog or just seen her- you know she is 'with child'. She is so dang cute! She is already 7 months pregnant. I can't believe it! We always thought I was going to get prego first, but since that isn't happening for a while, she just had to beat me to it. I love you Kristie and can't wait for that little girl to pop out!

Walter and his little family drove all the way down from Coalville to come to the reception. I was surprised to see them. His wife just had their second baby a few weeks back. This is him with thier first, Charlotte (sp). She is the cutest little girl!!
Aren't we just the cutest??
Kristie, Me, and Leslie. After the reception we went to Robert and Leslie's house. Every time we go over there we end up staying up all night/morning and talking. That night though we only lasted till about 2:30 am. As oppose to the last time, I think we got home around 5:30 am. I wished we lived closer to all of our friends! We miss them so much!

Happy 1st Birthday Roxy!!
That's right! We did have a birthday party for our little puppy girl. Had invitations and everything (I should post that later). We had it over at my aunt Jill's house where all of her puppy friends are. They have 3 dog's at their house. She loves it over there!
Jonny and Tora Bell. She obviously was not feeling this picture or the party hat.

Now the party hat... Jonny made every one wear party hats! So Evelyn and Fenway took that to the extreme! They are the funniest little kids!

Too bad Roxy doesn't like kids too much, she spent alot of the party on the back of the couch.

Mike and Kristie- thanks for coming guys!

A real 'doggie' Birthday cake! Those dogs went to town on it!

This has me worried about when we do have children, if we are going all out for our puppy, our kids are going to be spoiled rotten! By the way, don't you just love Roxy's Bee Halloween costume, she sported it at her bday party. And she even got presents! Thanks everyone for coming! Any excuse to get the family together!

Our little family.
