GRADUATION

The day finally came!! And we could not be any more not ready for it ironically. We planned on moving the same day as graduation. Friday night, the night before, my mom and uncle Greig came up to Logan to help us with last minute packing. The morning of graduation we felt so rushed that we didn't even get to enjoy the day. The weather was horrible. It ended up being such a blizzard! Too bad I didn't get a picture of outside. So between making sure all our family and friends made it to Logan safely, and directions to those who have never been there, and getting everything last minute in boxes, and getting ready and getting the U-haul etc, I barely had time to even give Jonny my graduation presents to him. And it was no glorious event either, just in our packed up bedroom just before we rushed him off to the school to get ready for Commencement. I had zero time to get ready, and just enough time to get there in a panic that we had missed it. But we didn't.
He now has time to read novels now that he's graduated! He was so excited to get this book.
And now for the present he never thought I would get him, and he wanted so much.

A watch he has had his eye on for about a year now, and wanted it so bad. Love it! So happy!
Showing off his new watch- does anyone need to know what time it is?
Quick snapshot before rushing off to school- for the last time!

HAPPY GRADUATION!
Walking to his seat. We were sitting kinda hight up in the stands, and it was so fun to try and find him and point him out to everyone.
As soon as I found him, my excitement was just unbearable and I raced down to the floor to say HI. I am just so proud of him, and love him so much!

Huge THANKS to everyone that came to support Jonny on his big day. It meant so much to have all our families and friends that to show how him how much they care.
Proud proud Dad!
Thanks so much Mom for coming out from OK- you get the 'traveled the furthest' award.

My awesome friend Megan came and found me right after. Her little brother was graduating that day as well. It was so sad to see her for the last time while living in Logan.

Waving to us above!
A little out of order, but this is right after getting his diploma. He was so excited to get that diploma he skipped up the ramp to receive it.
He was the only one who threw his hat! I caught this picture just in time. The hat is towards the top of the picture, and he's below.

After Graduation, we all went back to our town home, ate some pizza, changed our clothes, and packed the U-haul. We were out of Logan about 5pm and headed to Salt Lake! Love all our family and friends who stayed behind to help us pack up the u-haul. We so could not have done it with out all of you. It was a very busy packed day to say the least.

packing, presentation, last day of school

Boxes and tubs over load. I was so excited to finally start the packing for the big move to Salt Lake! It was so nice that when we moved into our town home, from our house because we didn't really un pack much since we knew that we would be moving in December when Jonny graduated. So luckily there wasn't that much to pack up.
We are so grateful that Jonny's parents opened their home to us as a transition place until we find a place of our own in Salt Lake and get settled. So since I knew that our things were going to be in storage for some time, I made sure that everything was clearly labeled in case we needed to find things. I made this huge excel spreadsheet with everything I own on it- Jonny thinks I am crazy... but when he needed that pan, he sure found it in 1b.
Senior Project Presentation Day!! It went awesome! You should have seen Jonny's motorcycle that stood out from all the rest of the projects! I am so proud of him! He was glowing showing off that thing off. He worked so hard on this project and he finished it with flying colors! Everyone was so so impressed!
He was making all the other engineer's jealous because everyone was huddled around his bike just so impressed and amazed! Utah State University actually wanted Jonny to donate the motorcycle to the school, and have this project be done every year and have Jonny oversee it. What an honor!
Dr.Chen his professor was the most impressed! He loves Jonny!
And the best news of all: JONNY WON BEST SENIOR DESIGN PROJECT 2009! (with cash prize!) My husband is the smartest and the coolest! I am so proud of him!
Getting his motorcycle on the 3rd floor of the Engineering building was tricky and amusing.

The motorcycle barely fit in the elevator!

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL EVER! (until he decides to go back and get his Masters or major in something else, which wouldn't surprise me). This was such an exciting day for both of us! He's literally been going to school every semester (including summers- and minus 2 years for his mission) since Kindergarten! So this day was just so surreal for him.

Halloween 2009

Halloween 2009 our awesome friends rented out a sweet room at Noah's. That place is so nice.
Jonny and I had prior plans that day so we didn't have time to put a costume together, so we threw some hats and tutu's on and went with it.
I love Kailee's face in this picture- pure honesty of 'why are you taking my picture?'
Aubry had just had her son Logan shortly before the party. He is so cute, and such a good baby. And do I even have to say how amazing she looks for just having a baby? She always looks so good.
The girls showin off for the camera.

Love Savannah- she always knows how to pose.

The boys. Love the bee costume Craig- little Jordyn had one on as well, but was in her jammies before pictures were taken of her in it.

But I just did a photo shoot over the last week and have to say this little girl is so cute. I can't wait to get all the pics edited and to the sweetest/funnest family. Thanks so much Ashli for letting me take your pictures!
(also, I do have 2 sessions on my photo blog, and need to update that as well- life is just so hectic right now)
